6 Cybersecurity setup

The cybersecurity setup is available on selected product variants. To find the correct variant, refer to the product Hardware Manual:

The cybersecurity setup provides you with guided hardening configurations, Simple mode or Advanced mode, with default presets to meet the ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 requirements.

Note: Completing the hardening configuration could make your device inaccessible on physical and logical interfaces. Make sure you fully understand the implications of the hardening configuration.

To set the hardening configuration with custom parameters, use the Advanced mode.

The use of custom parameters requires you to have specific knowledge of cybersecurity principles, techniques, and processes.
Any deviation from the default presets may invalidate the ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 certification.
